4th of July Fun!

We had a great holiday! We started by getting up and going to have breakfast with my parents. Josh and I met them at their church for some yummy french toast, hashbrowns, sausage and orange juice - MMMMMM Good! Then we stopped by the house to get Brianna ( who takes forever to get ready so couldn't go to breakfast LOL) and we stopped by the store to get our last minute sodas and chips, then it was off to Lucky Peak for some fun in the sun. We met my brother and his family and my parents and had some bbq and just relaxed. Josh and Brianna and my brother Ryan swam out to the fountain and froze their booties off while we stayed on the blanket reading magazines. Such a great afternoon! Then we went home for a much needed shower and rest before the big fireworks display at Ann Morrison Park. Thank goodness for my good friend sarah - She parked her car on the street by her apartments (which are right outside of the park entrance.) and when we got there she pulled out as we pulled in. TAH DA - great parking spot and no hassle - thanks Sarah! We sat at the park for a few hours relaxing and just spending time together and then watched a GREAT fireworks display. We were sitting entirely too close because it was VERY LOUD and we actually had debris from the fireworks landing in our hair and on our clothes - OOPS! I won't ever make that mistake again. We went home and lit off our own fireworks then called it a day. And it was one FUN but busy day. I look forward to many more 4th of July holidays in the future!!!
